The physical practice of yoga (Hatha Yoga) enables us to ‘be with what is’ both in our bodies and in our minds and it is often through the breath that we discover this.

Moving through different postures encourages us to find out what areas of tension or tightness we can release, sometimes through going deeper into a pose and sometimes by moving back and allowing more space. Ultimately, the physical practice of postural yoga is more about discovery of ourselves than mastery of specific poses.
