Beginners Yoga - With Joanna Thyssen

The physical practice of yoga (Hatha Yoga) enables us to ‘be with what is’ both in our bodies and in our minds and it is often through the breath that we discover this.

Moving through different postures encourages us to find out what areas of tension or tightness we can release, sometimes through going deeper into a pose and sometimes by moving back and allowing more space. Ultimately, the physical practice of postural yoga is more about discovery of ourselves than mastery of specific poses.

Yin Yoga -with Jason Searing

Yin yoga works on connective tissues and balances the body organs. It is the perfect companion or alternative to a gym workout.

Based on acupressure techniques we use the map of Chinese traditional medicine meridians to restore and activate various parts of the body.

Where possible and appropriate we use wall and props (belt and brick/block) to go deep.

In a world where everything has got faster YIN yoga means your body and mind get to slow down. Let go of everything.
